In our last edition, we showed you the merits of social media, blogging, webinars, and event presentations as ways to market you brand. Now let’s go over a few other traditional forms of marketing.
Print Marketing
One of the more effective offline marketing techniques for promoting your business, print marketing gives your business the chance to be in front of people that might otherwise pass you by. Many may have wanted to write off print ads, but if they’re done right, print ads can still give a nice boost to your brand. Of course, you’ll want to make sure your ads are featured in publications that are relevant to your industry. A clean, subtle ad that promotes your business and the corresponding website can definitely lead to more clicks online and overall brand awareness. Be as creative as you can be, so you can stand out from the crowd!
E-mail Marketing
We’ve sung e-mail marketing’s praises before, and it would be foolish to leave it off of this list. E-mail marketing can be a low-cost solution to getting your company’s message out to the masses. Give your website visitors the ability to sign up for your company’s mailing list by having a signup form on your front page. The topics you can write about are endless. You can send anything that you think would benefit your customer – product promotions, company news releases, customer testimonials, etc.. Also, make sure your emails are optimized for smartphones and tablets, according to HubSpot, 80.8% of users reported reading their emails on mobile devices.
Online Advertisements
Also known as ‘paid search’, these are the ads that are featured on websites, search engines, social media, etc. Companies can pay a certain amount to have their ads displayed where they think they’ll get a lot of coverage. Clicks on these ads will lead to gains for your business!
